Afternoon Update:

I hope you're enjoying that beautiful sunshine this afternoon! It's helping to warm temperatures into the mid 40s.  Into the evening hours, we'll see a few more clouds build into our backyard, and a few of those clouds could give way to an isolated flurry or shower.

Spring has sprung in central Kentucky; however, it sure doesn't feel like it.  Many of us are waking up to temperatures in the 20s and 30s.  Highs today will only top out in the low 40s.  Typically for your 20th day of March, we should be at 57° for a high temperature.  South of I-64 & east of I-75, we could see a rain drop or two along with a few snowflakes.  Look for an ice cold overnight under partly cloudy skies.

Your Thursday will be the coldest day all week with highs only in the mid 30s.

Relatively warm air will move into central Kentucky by late week and into this weekend.
