Afternoon Update:

Thinking about what to cook for dinner? Allow me to suggest a hardy and hot Chili to keep you warm! It's going to be cold outside around dinner with overnight lows falling to that freezing mark!  Frost will be a concern first thing Thursday morning with temps well below freezing come Friday & Saturday morning!

Good Morning & Happy Wednesday!

It's a cool, cloudy and wet start to your day with a few spotty showers in play mainly in eastern Kentucky. By lunch time, expect temperatures only in the mid 40s. I'd keep an umbrella on stand by just to be safe.  Highs are expected only in the upper 40s under party to mostly cloudy skies.

Frost is possible during the overnight hours tonight into early Thursday morning.  Overnight lows are forecast right around freezing [33°F]. With precipitation by first thing Thursday, higher elevated regions of eastern Kentucky could see a few flakes.
