Afternoon Update:

Given that today is the busiest travel day of the year, along with the snow showers that we've seen, the National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory through 6pm this evening. Take your time on the roadways, and know that after a snow showers develops, visibility may be reduced at times below 1 mile. Also, with a passing snow showers, roads may become wet and slippery.

It's a chilly start this morning with areas of light morning fog.  In the Bluegrass, we've picked up on the order of 1/4" - 1" of snow & sleet.  Take your time on the roadways. We're mostly cloudy with highs in the low 30s along with a few snow flurries through the day today.  Don't expect the snow to melt at all today or tomorrow. It'll be an ice cold overnight with temps in the mid to upper teens by first thing Thursday morning.

Thanksgiving Forecast:
We're mostly sunny, cold & windy with highs tomorrow in the mid 30s on your Thursday.
