Afternoon Update:

We're mostly cloudy with isolated showers this afternoon. Look for highs in the low 70s this afternoon.

Snow, sleet and rain is all in the forecast by first thing Tuesday morning by mid/late morning. Little/no accumulation is expected.

After making it to 83°F in Lexington on Sunday, we have an MAJOR weather changes in our forecast.

This morning, we're mild; however, have your umbrellas ready! Showers & thunderstorms are moving into Central Kentucky. Mostly cloudy skies should prevail with gusty winds and highs in the low 70s. Tonight, temps
should fall near FREEZING with Rain/Sleet & Snow possible. Little/No Accumulation is expected. Sensitive plants needed to be covered or brought inside. Expect the near freezing temps to possibly kill spring flowers and buds.

The best time frame to see rain/sleet/snow will be between: 5am - 12pm, Tuesday!
