Temperatures & overnight storms will be the weather headline today/tonight! Look for actually highs in the low to mid 90s. When you factor in the humidity, look for our "feels like" heat index temperatures nearing and exceeding 100°F.
Our second weather headline will be the showers & storms we're anticipating overnight. A line of heavy and strong storms may develop in IN and OH, and push into the Blue Grass by the evening and overnight hours. Though this line of showers and storms should weaken as it heads towards the south, north of I-64 will be our best chance for seeing severe storms capable of blowing down trees and power lines.

It's a mild & muggy morning with just a few passing clouds. By lunch time, we're forecasting temperatures in the mid to upper 80s under mostly sunny skies. Into this afternoon, look for low 90s with partly sunny skies overhead. Factoring in the humidity later today, our heat index, or how warm it will feel to exposed skin, will be near 100°F!
Showers & thunderstorms are in our forecast overnight into early Thursday morning. This will mainly impacts our eastern counties, east of I-75. The further north & east that you are, the better your chances for seeing showers and strong wind producing thunderstorms. The Storm Prediction Center may issue a severe weather watch during the overnight hours into early Thursday morning because of our elevated risk for wind damaging storms.
