After an unseasonably chilly morning with patchy frost, we are recovering very quickly to more April-like weather this afternoon as temperatures hover in the middle 60s. We'll continue into the middle 70s tomorrow, and upper 70s on Sunday, with overnight lows staying well above freezing this weekend. Much of southern Kentucky will stay dry this weekend, but there will be some spotty showers tonight to the west of Lexington, and on Saturday, primarily near and north of I-64. Sunday should bring a return to dry weather across the entire area. Widespread showers and thunderstorms will arrive on Monday and Tuesday as a cold front crosses Kentucky from west to east. Wednesday of next week will be cooler and dry with highs in the middle 60s. A weaker disturbance may spark a few showers on Thursday of next week with seasonable weather.
