Afternoon temperatures are hovering between the upper 30s and lower 40s right now. The warming trend will continue through the end of the week, with high pressure keeping us dry over the next three days. By Friday afternoon, we'll climb into the lower to middle 50s before a weak storm system arrives on Saturday, producing some scattered, light rain showers. A few showers may linger in southern Kentucky on Sunday, but most places will be dry as the weekend ends. A new storm system may produce another batch of rain showers on Monday into Tuesday.
