Warming Trend Kicks Off Monday

Midnight Update: Temperatures have already reached very chilly levels. While Lexington is holding strong at 43°, Irvine and Prestonsburg have fallen into the mid 30s.

Skies remain mostly clear for now, but more cloud cover is approaching from the west.

Meteorologist Michael Estime will be in with your warming forecast starting at 5 a.m. on Good Morning Kentucky.

We are in for another chilly night as temperatures fall into the mid 30s for Monday morning. Skies will remain mostly clear.

After a chilly weekend, our next warming trend will kick off Monday afternoon. We will be slightly warmer with highs near 60°. Skies will start the day mostly sunny with a few more clouds building in through the day.

On Tuesday, we will climb into the mid 60s with a mix of sun and clouds.

We will approach 70° Wednesday afternoon ahead of our next round of rain and storms.
