Noon Update: Skies remain clear this afternoon letting in plenty of sunshine!

Our temperatures started the day in the 20s, but all that sunshine has helped us already climb into the mid 40s in many areas. As of noon, Lexington is sitting at 44° with Morehead at 42°.

Chief Meteorologist Jason Myers will update you on our great Saturday weather tonight at 5, 6, and 11.

Forecast: After a cold start to our Friday, sunny skies will help temperatures climb into the upper 40s by the end of the afternoon.

Even with the current warming trend, we are expecting another chilly night and Saturday morning as we dip back to near 30° under mostly clear skies.

We continue to warm up on Saturday with highs in the low 50s. While a few clouds will start to build back in, expect a mostly sunny afternoon.

More clouds and rain showers will arrive on Sunday with highs back down in the mid 40s.

We could start Monday morning with a few snow showers. Highs will only reach the low 30s Monday afternoon.
