Midnight Update: It's starting to get chilly outside tonight. As of midnight, most areas are in the mid 30s to mid 40s with Lexington at 43° and Frankfort at 38°.

Skies are still clear, but there are a few clouds starting to build into western Kentucky.

Meteorologist Michael Estime will update you on our warmer weather starting at 5 a.m. Monday on Good Morning Kentucky.

Skies will stay mostly clear tonight as temperatures drop into the mid 30s for the Monday morning commute.

After a chilly morning, we'll be above average Monday afternoon! Highs will be in the mid 60s in central Kentucky with the help of mostly sunny skies.

We could see a few isolated rain showers Tuesday morning, but the afternoon will bring a mix of sun and clouds with highs in the low 70s.

Temperatures will stay close to 70 on Wednesday with the possibility of a few more isolated showers.

Widespread showers and thunderstorms are expected Thursday and Friday with a cooler weekend to follow.
