If you enjoyed the 62 degrees that we hit on Friday, the warm temperatures will now linger into the weekend! We're expecting a high around 64 on Saturday with warm south winds and partly cloudy skies. But a cold front across the Midwest will be sinking into our direction. Ahead of it Saturday night, clouds will thicken with a few showers. The cold front will arrive for the late morning to midday on Sunday. Along the front rain will continue and temperatures will remain steady in the upper 40s throughout the day. The winds will also shift out of the north and keep temperatures below average into next week. It looks like the rain chance will also linger into the midweek.

Saturday:  Breezy south winds will take temperatures back into the low to mid 60s. Partly cloudy skies are also expected to start the weekend. Winds: S 10-20 mph.  High: 64.

Saturday Night:  Clouds will thicken for the evening and keep temperatures in the mid 50s into the overnight as rain showers arrive. Rain will increase in coverage by Sunday morning along a cold front.  Winds: SW 10-20 mph.  Temperatures falling from the mid 50s into the upper 40s.

Sunday:  A midday cold front will keep temperatures struggling throughout the day, as they remain in the upper 40s. Widespread rainfall will continue into the day with moderate to heavy intensity rain possible at times. The winds will switch out of the north by the afternoon behind the cold front.  Winds: N 10-20 mph.  Steady temperatures in the upper 40s.

Sunday Night: Rain will continue across the region as temperatures drop back into the mid 30s. Winds: N 5-15 mph. Low: 35.

Monday: Cloudy skies and lingering rain will continue as temperatures remain in the mid 40s. By Monday evening, many locations will have received over 1"-2" of rain from Sunday to Monday. Winds: NE 8-15 mph. High: 44.
