Midnight Update: After climbing to 76° at Blue Grass Airport Sunday afternoon, the city has cooled down to 58° as of midnight. Most surrounding cities are in the mid 50s, with Morehead at 60°.

A few high clouds are still moving through Kentucky, but we should still see plenty of sunshine to start our Monday.

Meteorologist Michael Estime will be in to update you on the timing of the rain starting at 5 a.m. on Good Morning Kentucky.

We'll see a few passing clouds tonight as temperatures drop into the low 50s for the Monday morning commute. Winds will be light.

After a mostly sunny start to the day Monday, more clouds will start to build in during the afternoon. Even with the extra clouds, temperatures will still manage to reach the mid 70s.

Rain showers and a few storms are expected to arrive Monday night and will continue at times into Tuesday.

The rainy weather will hold temperatures back to the mid and upper 60s Tuesday afternoon.

We'll stay more seasonable Wednesday afternoon with mostly sunny skies. Highs will be in the mid 60s.

Warmer weather continues Thursday with plenty of sunshine and high back into the mid 70s.
