Midnight Update: Temperatures have been dropping fairly quickly since sunset. Most areas are in the mid to upper 50s, but Lexington is holding strong at 60°. We are still on track to fall into the low 50s by morning. Skies remain mostly clear.

Our near-perfect weather will continue into the weekend with cool mornings and mild afternoons.

We will start Saturday with mostly clear skies and temperatures in the low to mid 50s. Fog will be possible, mainly in valleys.

The sun will keep shining with very few clouds to block it Saturday afternoon. Eastern Kentucky will see a few more clouds than other areas. Afternoon highs will be in the mid to upper 70s.

The sun will be setting right around kickoff for the UK vs. Alabama game. Temperatures will be in the low 70s to start the game and drop into the mid 60s by the time the upset is complete.

Sunday will be partly cloudy with highs staying in the mid and upper 70s. Southern and eastern Kentucky could see a spotty, light rain shower or two.
