Noon Update: Temperatures are already in the upper 70s in most cities early this afternoon. A few places have already hit 80°, but Lexington is still at 78°.

We are dry for now, but a few spotty showers are near Nashville, heading northeast towards Kentucky. If one of these showers moves over your backyard, it won't last long.

Chief Meteorologist Jason Myers will be in with the latest on our next cold front tonight at 5, 6, and 11. Have a great weekend everyone!

Most of us will stay dry today, but a few isolated showers are possible this afternoon and into the early evening. Afternoon highs will be near 83° in Lexington with partly cloudy skies.

While we may see an isolated shower at one or two of our Friday Night Football games early on, expect to stay dry. Temperatures will be in the upper 70s at kickoff and drop into the low 70s for your drive home.

By Saturday morning, we will drop into the mid 60s with some patchy fog.

A few more isolated showers and storms will be possible Saturday afternoon, but a majority of the day will be dry. Expect a mix of sun and clouds with highs in the mid 80s.

Our next cold front arrives Sunday, bringing a line of showers and storms. Some storms could be strong to severe.

Cooler weather arrives early next week.
