Tornado Watch Issued For Parts Of Kentucky

A tornado watch has been issued for parts of Kentucky Monday evening.
The Storm Prediction Center has issued a Tornado Watch for southeastern Kentucky through 8:00 Monday evening. This includes the counties of Bell, Clay, Floyd, Harlan, Knott, Knox, Leslie, Letcher, Perry, Pike, and Whitley Counties in Kentucky.

A tornado watch means conditions are favorable for tornado formation. Be prepared to immediately take shelter if a Tornado Warning is issued.

Damage has already been reported in Whitley County, where the 911 call center says multiple trees and power lines have been knocked down by thunderstorm winds.

Stay up to date with the ABC 36 Storm Team through the rest of the night with the latest watches and warnings.
