The final Winter Weather Advisories will expire in far eastern Kentucky later this afternoon.

Wind chills have recovered from below zero early this morning into the middle single digits early this afternoon.  They may come close to 10° - at best - this afternoon, but it will remain frigid and blustery.  Skies will stay cloudy and snow showers will taper off from west to east this afternoon and into the evening.  Highs will only reach the middle 20s today.  We'll fall into the teens tonight and into the lower 30s on Saturday before a weaker disturbance produces some scattered snow showers on Saturday evening.  The Saturday evening snow showers may leave a dusting to a fraction of an inch on top of what we've already received.  Sunday will be dry, and we should limp above freezing into the middle to upper 30s in the afternoon.  Rain will return on Monday and Tuesday morning, potentially ending as a brief period of light snow before dry and cold weather returns for Wednesday and Thursday of next week.
