Temperatures To Drop Again Monday

After more snow Sunday night, colder air will arrive for Monday. Temperatures will eventually fall into the single digits again.
A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for most of central and eastern Kentucky through Monday morning. Untreated roads and sidewalks may become slippery. Use caution when traveling.

Midnight Update:
Snow has been heavier at times than first expected. Portions of central and eastern Kentucky could see up to an inch of snow now with some areas seeing slightly higher amounts. The heaviest snow should come to an end within a few hours.

Temperatures are falling as colder air pushes in. Central Kentucky is already in the mid 20s with southern Kentucky near 30°.

Meteorologist Michael Estime will update you on our next round of cold starting at 5 a.m. on Good Morning Kentucky.

Forecast: Our latest round of snow showers is pushing through Kentucky tonight. Additional snow totals will be minor, but could cause a few slick spots tonight. Areas along and south of Interstate 64 could see between a dusting and half an inch of snow. Areas further south of London and Somerset will likely see a dusting at best.

The heaviest snow is expected to end by midnight, with all snow ending by the Monday morning commute. Temperatures will be falling into the upper teens by the time the bus picks up the kids for school.

Skies will begin to clear Monday afternoon, but afternoon highs will only be near 20°

By Tuesday morning, temperatures will fall into the single digits. As usual, make sure to protect your pipes and bring in your pets!
