Midnight Update: Clouds have thickened up over the region so far tonight and have closed in on a few areas that had clearer conditions earlier in the night, such as Frankfort. Those clouds will stick with us for the morning commute.

Our friends in Frankfort are seeing the coolest weather in the region with temperatures in the mid 30s. Most other cities are in the mid 40s with Lexington at 44°.

We'll stay pretty mild tonight, considering it's now December! Temperatures will fall into the low 40s by Monday morning under mostly cloudy skies. Very light rain, or drizzle, will be possible in a few locations, but most areas will stay dry.

That slim possibility of light rain will continue into the first half of our Monday. The rest of us will stay dry under mostly cloudy skies. Temperatures will top out in the low 50s.

We could hit the upper 50s by Tuesday and the low 60s by Wednesday afternoon.

Our next system arrives in the second half of the work week bringing rain and colder weather.
