Temperatures Set To Climb Early In The Week

After some slighlty cooler weather Sunday, we will start to warm back up Monday and Tuesday before our next storm system arrives.
Midnight Update: Skies remain mostly clear tonight, but we have cooled down quite a bit since this afternoon.

Temperatures range from the mid 30s to the low 40s across Kentucky. As of midnight, Lexington is at 39° with London at 41°. Many areas will fall into the mid 30s by the Monday morning commute.

Due to Daylight Saving Time, sunrise on Monday will be later, at 7:57 a.m. in Lexington. We are approaching 12 hours of daylight now with Monday's sunset at 7:41 p.m. in Lexington.

After a chilly start to your Monday, we will start to warm back up. Afternoon highs will be in the low 60s under mostly sunny skies. Winds could be slightly breezy at times.

The sunshine stays with us on Tuesday as we approach 70° in the afternoon.

Late Tuesday night into early Wednesday morning, rain showers associated with our next storm system will start to push in. Rain showers will continue into Wednesday afternoon, but as temperatures drop throughout the day, we could see a transition to snow.

Highs on Thursday will only be in the low to mid 30s.
