Noon Update: The fog has cleared and central Kentucky is now under mostly clear skies, letting plenty of sunshine in! Southern Kentucky still has a thin layer of clouds, which should finish clearing out early in the afternoon.

Temperatures are already in the low to upper 30s, with Lexington sitting at 31° at the noon hour.

Forecast:
Thick fog has developed in some areas this morning. With temperatures below freezing, this could create a few extra slippery spots on roads and sidewalks.

Skies will begin to clear later this morning, giving way to a mostly sunny afternoon. We'll be slightly warmer with highs in the low 40s.

We could see more refreezing tonight as we dip back into the mid 20s. A few more clouds will build in overnight.

Those extra clouds will hang around Thursday afternoon, but the warming trend will continue. Highs will reach the mid 40s.

Friday is looking even warmer with highs in the mid 50s under mostly sunny skies.

Temperatures will take a minor hit over the weekend with the possibility of a few light rain showers Saturday night, with a few snowflakes possibly mixing in Sunday morning.
