Sunshine Returns Sunday

Sunshine Returns Sunday

The sunshine will return on Sunday after a number of storms moved through Kentucky on Saturday.
Midnight Update: The storms and rain have come to an end across Kentucky and we will stay dry the rest of the night. Patchy fog is already developing in some areas, reducing visibilities through Sunday morning.

Temperatures are in the low to mid 60s after the storms cooled us off earlier in the day. As of midnight, Lexington is at 63°.

The severe storms that pushed through central Kentucky Saturday afternoon have greatly weakened as they pushed further southeast. These will provide a few more rain showers to areas south and east of Lexington before ending early tonight.

Skies will then begin to clear for Sunday morning, although some areas could wake up to some morning fog. Temperatures will start the day in the low 60s.

A few more clouds will develop for Sunday afternoon, but it looks like everyone will stay dry. Afternoon highs will be in the mid 80s.

We add another degree or two to the heat for Monday and Tuesday with the help of mostly sunny skies.

Humidity still looks to stay relatively low through the first half of the next workweek.
