Noon Update: Skies remain mostly cloudy for now, but we are seeing clearing conditions towards Louisville. That clearing will continue to head further east through the rest of the afternoon, allowing for some sunshine by the end of the day.

Temperatures haven't moved much today. Most areas are between the upper 20s and low 30s at the noon hour. These numbers won't climb much this afternoon.

Forecast: Reported snow totals are mostly between 3 and 6 inches of snow along with some ice. Areas further south and east saw more sleet and snow leading to less snow. Many roadways are still covered with ice and snow in central Kentucky, but road conditions should continue to improve in the afternoon.

Clouds will begin to clear in the afternoon giving way to more sunshine as temperatures work their way near freezing. This will help treated roadways quickly melt.

It will be a chilly Monday night and Tuesday morning as temperatures drop to near 20° under partly cloudy skies.

We'll start Tuesday dry, but rain showers are expected to arrive after lunch with highs in the mid 30s.

These rain showers could give way to some ice or snow by Wednesday morning.
