Midnight Update: Our latest round of storms has pushed out of central Kentucky and into far eastern Kentucky. All the rain should be out of Kentucky within the next hour. While we will be dry the rest of the night, some patchy fog could develop as we head towards our Monday morning commute.
Temperatures have dropped into the upper 60s in most areas with Corbin and London still at 71°.
Rain showers and thunderstorms are moving through Kentucky this evening. Some of these storms have become strong and could produce strong winds, heavy rain, and small hail. Stay indoors if storms are passing through your neighborhood. The storms will start to weaken late this evening.
Most areas will be dry by Monday morning with temperatures dropping into the mid 60s overnight.
We could see a few more showers and storms during the day Monday, but the activity will not be as widespread as it was Sunday evening. Otherwise, we will see a mix of sun and clouds with afternoon highs in the mid 80s.
Another round of showers and storms is possible Tuesday afternoon with temperatures back into the low 80s.
