Sticky And A Bit Warmer To End The Workweek

We'll see a slight increase in the heat and humidity Friday, but a couple cities will be cooled off by a quick storm in the afternoon.
Midnight Update: A few more clouds have built into areas south and east of Lexington, which should begin to clear out overnight for the Friday morning commute. Fog will still be possible in some areas.

Temperatures have fallen into the low and mid 60s across the Commonwealth, with Lexington closer to 70 degrees as of midnight.

Meteorologist Michael Estime will have the latest on our possibility for a spotty shower or two Friday afternoon starting at 5 a.m. on Good Morning Kentucky.

Skies will stay mostly clear tonight in central Kentucky with a few more clouds to the south and east. Temperatures will fall into the low 60s by Friday morning. A few areas could wake up to some fog.

After a mostly sunny start to your Friday, a few more clouds will develop in the afternoon. A few of these clouds will give way to a quick shower or storm, but most areas will stay dry with highs in the mid 80s.

Our humidity will go up very slightly, making it feel a bit sticky Friday and into the weekend, but not muggy.

A few more hit and miss storms will be possible Saturday and Sunday with highs staying in the low to mid 80s.

Afternoon highs will continue to slowly move higher next week, eventually approaching 90 degrees again.
