Skies have become partly sunny, and the morning rain showers have exited to the east.  Highs will climb to near 72 degrees.  Later this afternoon and evening, additional, isolated showers and sprinkles will cross a few areas especially to the north of I-64 as a weak trough crosses the Ohio Valley.  Tonight will be chillier with gradual clearing and lows around 44 degrees.  High pressure will return for Thursday and Friday, providing more sunshine than clouds as temperatures remain a bit below normal.  Scattered thunderstorms will return to the forecast, beginning Saturday evening, and becoming more widespread on Mother's Day and especially early next week.
