Spotty Showers Tonight, Followed By Colder Weather

Light to moderate rain showers will move through Kentucky tonight as temperatures continue to fall early in the work week.
Midnight Update: The most widespread area of rainfall has moved into eastern Kentucky, but a few isolated showers are still pushing through central and eastern Kentucky. Any rainfall will remain light for the rest of the night into the early morning hours of Monday.

Our colder air is pushing in. As of midnight, Frankfort is in the upper 30s and Lexington is in the upper 40s. Further south and east, temperatures are still in the mid 50s.

Forecast: We'll see scattered rain showers Sunday night into early Monday morning as temperatures drop into the low 30s by morning.

After a mostly cloudy start to Monday, skies will let some sunshine through in the afternoon. Colder air will continue to push in through the day, keeping highs in the upper 30s.

We could see a few snowflakes in the sky Tuesday morning, but temperatures will only make it into the mid 20s for your Christmas Eve.

Luckily we won't be that cold for Christmas. Temperatures will be back in the mid 30s with mostly sunny skies.
