A few scattered rain and snow showers will be possible throughout the day Tuesday. A weak cold front will hold temperatures near 40° with cloudy skies.
Noon Update: Our weak cold front continues to slowly push through Kentucky. Lexington has fallen into the upper 30s with areas further south in the mid 40s. Cooler air will continue to flow in behind the front further south and east through the afternoon.

Scattered rain showers continue, mainly along and south of I-64. The light to moderate rain showers will slowly dip further south during the day, with some spotty snow showers still possible this evening.

A cold front will work its way through Kentucky Tuesday. This will hold temperatures back to near 40° during the afternoon. Most of the day will be spent under cloudy skies with a few rain and snow showers. Any snow that falls will quickly melt on the warmer ground. Winds will be breezy in the afternoon.

Skies will finally begin to clear tonight as temperatures drop into the mid 20s by Wednesday morning.

Our warming trend will resume Wednesday afternoon with highs in the low 40s. Winds will be lower and the sun will be out in full force.

We will continue to warm through the work week, eventually hitting the low 60s early in the weekend.

Rain showers will return Friday with heavy rain possible over the weekend.
