Today will feature the end of the accumulating snow, with off-and-on snow showers this afternoon in eastern Kentucky.
It will be unseasonably cold with temperatures running about 15 degrees below normal, peaking only into the mid 30s.
Tonight will be cold with slick spots due to re-freezing, as lows dip into the mid 20s.
Tuesday and Wednesday will feature bright skies as high pressure slides in, dramatically boosting temperatures back to near - and eventually a bit above - average for early March.
Scattered showers and thunderstorms will arrive with mild weather from Thursday into Sunday as a series of disturbances cross Kentucky.
