Slightly Cooler Sunday, But Staying Sunny

A weak cold front will bring a few light rain showers Saturday night and some slightly cooler air for Sunday.

Midnight Update:
The light rain has come to and end across the region with most areas still seeing mostly cloudy skies. The clouds will clear throughout the morning Sunday.

Cooler air is just starting to build in from the north. As of midnight, Frankfort is at 37°, but Somerset and London are still at 50°.

Forecast: A weak cold front will move through Kentucky Saturday night, bringing a few light rain showers. The rain will exit the region by Sunday morning as temperatures drop into the low 30s.

Skies will clear late Sunday morning, making for a sunny afternoon. Due to cooler air building in, temperatures will only reach the upper 40s.

We'll stay mostly sunny on Monday as we start to warm back up. Afternoon highs will be near 60°.

The warming trend continues on Tuesday into the upper 60s with a few more clouds.

Our next system arrives late Tuesday night, bringing widespread rain showers throughout the day Wednesday.

The back side of the system could bring some light snow Thursday morning with highs only in the upper 30s Thursday afternoon.
