Midnight Update: Temperatures continue to fall tonight with the colder air also pushing into eastern and southern Kentucky now. Most cities are in the mid and upper 30s as of midnight, with Lexington at 35°.

Winds have dropped and are now less than 10 mph across the region and should stay that way the rest of the night.

Clouds continue above, but western Kentucky is starting to clear out. We'll see our skies clear Sunday morning.

Forecast:
We'll stay mostly cloudy and dry Saturday night into early Sunday morning. Temperatures will fall to just below freezing by morning.

Late in the morning, skies will begin to clear, making for a mostly sunny Sunday afternoon. Highs will be in the upper 40s with winds back down in their more typical 5 to 10 mph range.

The "heat" will continue to build Monday as we hit the low 50s, but it will come with chances for rain in the afternoon.

By Wednesday, we'll be back to seeing snow showers with highs in the upper 20s.
