A Flash Flood Watch is in effect across southeastern Kentucky until Friday evening.

Flood Advisories are also in effect in some parts of the area.  Our ZoomRadar map will also show the latest information if you click on Weather Bulletins within the map.

Out ahead of a cold front, scattered thunderstorms will continue overnight.
The actual cold front will cross the area on Friday, so thunderstorms will remain possible through the overnight hours as lows only fall into the low 70s.
Another round of strong to severe thunderstorms may form along and just ahead of the front on Friday, from Lexington to the south and southeast.
Slightly cooler air will follow for the weekend, with highs returning to the 80s.
Central Kentucky should be dry on Saturday and Sunday, with isolated thunderstorms limited to areas near the Tennessee and Virginia state lines.
We'll return to the lower 90s with isolated to scattered thunderstorms back in the forecast from Monday through Wednesday of next week.
