Remaining Hot With Only A Few Stray PM T-Storms

Unrelenting heat will continue for the next several days. Highs will climb well into the middle 90s, with spotty late-day thunderstorms.
Heat Advisories continue in Owen, Grant, Pendleton, Bracken, Robertson, Mason, Lewis, Carter and Lawrence Counties this afternoon and early this evening.

The unrelenting heat will continue through the entire seven-day forecast with highs consistently in the 90s.  We'll be in the middle 90s each afternoon through Friday, and each of these days will feature isolated to scattered afternoon thunderstorms.  Heat indices will climb to near 100° each afternoon.  Saturday will be dry, bright and even hotter with highs near 97°.  A front will approach next Sunday and Monday, bringing scattered thunderstorms back into the forecast.  We'll begin to transition to cooler air by the start of next week, with highs near 90° on Monday.
