Midnight Update: More clouds have started to build into western Kentucky and are heading our way. While the clouds will reach us in time for the morning commute, it appears the rain should still hold off until the middle of the afternoon.

Temperatures have dropped into the mid 20s, with Lexington sitting at 26° as of midnight. That puts us on track to still be in the low 20s by the morning commute.

We'll drop into the low 20s for the Monday morning commute with clouds building back in overnight.

After a dry start to the day, rain showers will push into central Kentucky during the middle of the afternoon and expand further south and east during the evening. Even with the rain, we'll warm into the upper 40s.

We'll dry out for Tuesday with clearing skies. Temperatures will start the day near freezing and climb into the mid 50s in the afternoon.

By Thursday, rain showers will return for many areas with highs well into the 60s. Storms will be possible Thursday night.
