Midnight Update: Temperatures are staying fairly mild tonight. As of midnight, Lexington is at 43° with most other cities in the low and mid 40s.

Clouds are starting to build into far western Kentucky from the southwest. Those clouds will continue to expand further into Kentucky overnight and will reach us by morning. It still appears all rain will hold off until the afternoon.

Meteorologist Michael Estime will have your updated forecast starting at 5 a.m. Monday on Good Morning Kentucky.

We will stay mostly clear and a bit breezy tonight as temperatures drop into the upper 30s by Monday morning.

By the morning commute, more clouds will start to build into the region and eventually give way to some afternoon rain showers. Even with the rain, most cities should be able to warm into the low 50s.

We will dry out by Tuesday morning, but by the afternoon, a few more spotty rain showers could develop and start to mix in with some snow by Tuesday night. Highs will be in the mid 40s.

A few snow showers are expected Wednesday with highs only in the upper 20s.
