Late this evening and overnight, scattered showers and thunderstorms will arrive as a cold front crosses the area.
Behind the front, widespread showers will linger into Saturday, especially in the morning.
Temperatures will be unseasonably cool from Saturday through Tuesday, with highs in the 50s and lows frequently in the 30s.
A few weak disturbances will cross the area on Sunday and Monday, producing a few isolated showers or sprinkles in the chilly air.
Temperatures will recover into the more seasonable upper 60s and 70s at the middle of next week, but a new disturbance will increase our chances for showers and thunderstorms on Wednesday and Thursday.
