An approaching cold front will keep things breezy this evening, with southerly winds around 15-20mph, and gusts up to 30mph.
This cold front will arrive from the west into central KY in overnight hours bringing a line of scattered showers.
Due to the overnight timing, around 2am to 8am, the severe threat looks very minimal, but a few storms may produce wind gusts up to 40mph, heavy rain, and lightning.
The shower activity will come to an end mid-morning Thursday in eastern KY.
Clouds will clear out by afternoon, but breezy conditions will hang around.

Wrap around moisture from our exiting system will provide a few light showers on Friday and more cloudy cover.
Winds will be lighter, but afternoon highs will struggle to get out of the 50s.

If you like fall-like temps and sunshine, the weekend looks perfect!
Saturday will start out chilly and warm to near 60° for the afternoon with lots of sunshine.
Sunday's highs will climb into the upper 60s.
A dry stretch is anticipated from the weekend through mid next week with a gradual warming trend.
