Off and On Rain/Storms

Off and On Rain/Storms

A wet weather pattern will persist in the region through the work week, but temperatures should warm with strong south winds and more sunshine expected.
Extra clouds will continue through the overnight, keeping temperatures more mild. We'll only drop off into the low 60s. The south winds will remain at 10 to 15 mph. Overnight thunderstorms will blossom to the northwest, with the potential for some of them to slide into central Kentucky. The best chance will be in the Bluegrass.

Some sunshine is expected with extra clouds on Wednesday, allowing temperatures to jump into the low 80s. The strong south winds will be steady between 12 and 20 mph. In the afternoon widespread showers and storms likely in northern Kentucky will begin to sink south. They may linger into the evening across the region. At this time, no severe weather is expected.

The off and on showers and storms will persist into Thursday when temperatures peak in the mid to upper 70s.
