Not As Warm, Some Hail-Producing T-Storms Possible

The stretch of unusually warm March weather has ended, and scattered showers and some thunderstorms will occur today.
While temperatures will still be a bit above average, today will not be nearly as warm as the past few days.  Scattered showers and some potentially strong thunderstorms will accompany a weakening front today.  Some of the thunderstorms in the afternoon could bring hail to the area, with severe weather most likely to the west of I-75.  The weekend will feature cooler, slightly more seasonable weather with leftover showers and thunderstorms.  By Monday, most areas will be dry, but an isolated shower may linger in far eastern Kentucky.  High pressure will return early in the week, so the entire region will be bright and dry on Tuesday.  Scattered thunderstorms will accompany another front on Wednesday of next week, but not before highs recover into the lower 70s.  Showers or thunderstorms may linger in southern Kentucky on Thursday of next week.
