Evening severe thunderstorms have exited southern Kentucky. They developed along a cold front that is moving into Tennessee. Behind the cold front, tonight will be much cooler, with lows near 44° and partly cloudy skies. Friday will be cooler with highs in the lower 60s, and after a dry start, scattered thunderstorms will return late in the day as the same front drifts north back across Kentucky. This front will remain nearly stationary, occasionally wavering south and north across Kentucky through the weekend and into early next week, so each day will feature at least the chance for isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms. Temperatures will be seasonable through most of the 7-Day Forecast, with highs generally in the 60s and 70s.
