Midnight Update: We are dry with partly cloudy skies and will stay that way as we head into Tuesday morning. Remember that areas that saw rain Monday could wake up to some patchy fog.

Temperatures have dropped into the upper 60s in southern Kentucky and into the low 70s elsewhere. As of midnight, Lexington is sitting at 73°.

Forecast:
Our scattered showers and storms have come to an end for the night, but areas that saw rain could wake up to some patchy fog Tuesday morning. We'll start the day in the mid 60s.

Late Tuesday morning and into the early part of the afternoon, another round of hit and miss storms will develop and continue into Tuesday evening. Afternoon highs will be in the mid 80s again. When dry, we'll be a little muggy with a mix of sunshine and clouds.

More scattered storms are expected Wednesday with highs staying in the mid 80, but our best chance for rain looks to be on Thursday.

We'll dry out by the weekend with lower humidity and highs in the low 80s.
