Midnight Update: We are starting to see some snow push into central Kentucky. This should pick up late tonight into early Sunday morning.

Temperatures are still near 30° in Lexington with southern Kentucky in the mid 30s.

Skies will remain cloudy Saturday night. After midnight, some light snow will start to build into the region. A few areas of light freezing rain will also be possible. By Sunday morning, temperatures will be in the low to mid 20s with some areas seeing between a dusting and 1/4 inch of new snow.

More light snow and freezing drizzle will be possible during the day Sunday with temperatures making it into the low and mid 30s. Skies will be mostly cloudy.

Another round of steady snow is expected Sunday night into Monday morning. This snow could give some areas between another dusting and 3/4 inch by Monday morning. While this isn't much snow, it could create a slick spot or two for the morning commute.

Colder air will build in for Monday, holding afternoon highs back into the low and mid 20s.
