Monday: Frosty Start, Cool Afternoon

After a chilly start to Columbus Day, temperatures will only climb into the upper 50s by afternoon. Most will stay dry, but a few sprinkles are possible early in the day.
A Frost Advisory is in effect for locations along and north of I-64.

Clearing skies and calm winds allow for temperatures to quickly fall off into the mid 30s areawide.
Some rural locations will be near the freezing mark by Monday morning.
Widespread light frost is expected for the Bluegrass while southern KY will see patchy frost.

Monday will be another cool day with partly cloudy skies.
Afternoon highs will only peak in the mid to upper 50s...A good 15° below average.
A few sprinkles and light rain showers may pass through southern Kentucky, along the TN/KY border, early in the day.

Tuesday will start out chilly but we'll warm into the low to mid 60s by afternoon with dry conditions.
This week will feature a few spotty rain chances including Wednesday and next weekend.
