Clouds will thicken late tonight as Gulf moisture increases keeping temperatures milder in the low 60s.
This moisture will bring a few scattered showers Sunday afternoon, mainly along the Kentucky/Tennessee border.
Despite an increase in clouds, afternoon temperatures will peak in the low to mid 80s.
A cold front will then combine forces with the Gulf moisture, bringing more widespread showers and thunderstorms Monday and Tuesday.
With the exception of eastern Kentucky, Wednesday will be much drier with highs near 80.
The rest of the work week looks to be dry with a gradual climb in temperatures.
