Mild & Breezy Today, Stronger T-Storms At Midweek

A weak cold front will cross the area this afternoon, but we will remain dry, mild and breezy. Stronger t-storms will return at midweek.
Gusty breezes will continue under a partly sunny sky, this afternoon.  A weak cold front will continue to cross central and eastern Kentucky, but with very little moisture available, we will all remain dry.  Temperatures will slowly fall from near 60 degrees in the early afternoon, through the 50s late in the afternoon.  Tonight, under partly cloudy skies, we'll dip down to 31 degrees.  Tuesday will be very mild with highs near 60, and after a mainly dry day, scattered showers and thunderstorms will arrive from the west, late.  A more widespread of strong to potentially severe thunderstorms will cross Kentucky on Wednesday as a more potent cold front sweeps through the area.  Thursday will be partly sunny and dry, before another batch of active weather arrives on Friday with scattered thunderstorms.  By Saturday, most of the precipitation will have exited to the east, but an isolated rain shower or snow flurry may still occur in eastern Kentucky in the morning.  Chilly air will be here for the weekend, and a new disturbance may produce a light mix of rain and snow on Sunday.
