Mercury Continues To Climb Thursday

We'll start to feel more like summer on Thursday, but without the humidity. Rain chances make their way into the forecast by the weekend.
Midnight Update: The showers and storms along the Ohio River have either come to an end for the night or have pushed into West Virginia. Southern Kentucky is seeing more cloud cover, but will remain dry.

We've cooled off into the low and mid 60s across the region, with Lexington at 67 degrees as of midnight.

Meteorologist Michael Estime will be in Thursday morning to update you on any fog that develops starting at 5 a.m. on Good Morning Kentucky.

Forecast:
A few spotty showers and storms are moving along the Ohio River and could bring some rain to far northern Kentucky early tonight. By midnight everyone should be dry.

Skies will slowly clear overnight, allowing for a mostly sunny Thursday morning commute with temperatures in the upper 50s.

A few more clouds will develop Thursday afternoon, but should not lead to any rain showers. We'll be slightly warmer with highs in the low to mid 80s.

We'll stay in the mid 80s Friday afternoon with a few spotty showers and storms possible in the afternoon. Otherwise, expect a mix of sunshine and clouds.

Highs will stay in the mid 80s over the weekend with low humidity and more slight chances for a shower or storm.
