Memorial Day Looking Mostly Dry

Memorial Day Looking Mostly Dry

Most of your outdoor plans will stay dry on Monday, but a few spotty showers and storms will be possible in the afternoon. Otherwise we'll be warm with higher humidity.
Midnight Update: Skies are now mostly clear and will stay that way as we head into Monday morning, making way for plenty of sunshine to start our Memorial Day.

Temperatures are in the low to mid 60s. As of midnight, Lexington is right at 65°. We'll give up a few more degrees through the rest of the night.

Forecast: Skies will stay partly cloudy overnight as temperatures drop to near 60° by Monday morning. We'll stay dry throughout the morning.

Your Memorial Day afternoon will be warmer and a bit muggy. Expect a mix of sun and clouds through most of the day with highs in the low to mid 80s. While most areas will stay dry, a few hit and miss showers and storms are expected in the afternoon. Any rain that develops will fade quickly in the evening.

Tuesday and Wednesday will bring more scattered showers and storms with highs staying in the mid 80s.

For now, our best chance for rain appears to be Thursday, with highs dipping back into the low 80s.
