Clouds are already thickening as a weak disturbance arrives from the west bringing a round of light rain, snow and sleet showers.
This system will quickly cross central and eastern Kentucky on Saturday morning into midday, but impacts should be very, very limited as moisture will be scarce and surface temperatures remain above freezing.
An even weaker disturbance will cross the Ohio Valley on Sunday, producing a few snow flurries in northern Kentucky while highs only peak in the upper 30s.
High pressure will provide chilly but bright weather on Monday.
Milder air will return at the middle of next week as rain returns from Tuesday evening through Wednesday and into Thursday
