Isolated Light Rain Could Continue Monday Morning

Most of the light rain has come to an end, but a few light showers might continue Monday morning.
Midnight Update: Most of the light rain has ended for now, but we are still seeing a few light pockets of rain stretching from Owingsville, to Flemingsburg, and over into Mount Olivet. These light areas of rain are moving northeast, away from Lexington. A few more light showers could develop Monday morning, wetting some roadways for the morning commute.

Temperatures have fallen into the upper 50s and low 60s tonight, with Lexington at 62° as of midnight.

The line of showers quickly broke apart as it pushed into central Kentucky Sunday evening. A few of those light pockets of rain will continue tonight into Monday morning, but most areas will stay dry.

By Monday afternoon, we should all be dry. Temperatures will climb into the mid 70s with a little sunshine late in the day.

We will be able to enjoy loads of sunshine Tuesday with highs in the upper 70s.

The heat will continue to climb Wednesday, with some areas topping out in the low 80s.
