Midnight Update: Most of the rain has come to an end in the region, but we are still watching a few storms in western Kentucky that are slowly drifting our way. Most areas will remain dry tonight.

Temperatures have fallen into the mid and upper 70s now. Lexington is sitting at 78° with many southern Kentucky cities in the mid 70s. The high humidity is still making it feel like the low 80s.

We are tracking a few spotty showers this evening across Kentucky this evening, but we will dry out by Sunday morning. Temperatures will only fall into the low 70s making for a warm Sunday morning.

A cold front will stall across the region Sunday which will be a focal point for the development of showers and storms during the day Sunday. The rain, along with more cloud cover, will help to keep us slightly cooler during the afternoon. Highs will be in the mid and upper 80s.

The rain will continue for some areas into Sunday night, but it looks like we will temporarily dry out for the Monday morning commute. Another round of storms is possible Monday afternoon with highs reaching the low and mid 80s.

The front will lift back north, bringing lower rain chances into the forecast for Tuesday and Wednesday.
