Midnight Update: Our skies remain dry and mostly clear tonight.

Temperatures have dropped into the mid 60s to low 70s for now. As of midnight, Prestonsburg is our cool spot at 62° with Lexington coming in as one of the warmest cities at 72°.

Morning Meteorologist Michael Estime is back and will update you on our increasing heat and humidity starting at 5 a.m. on Good Morning Kentucky.

We will stay dry and mostly clear overnight as temperatures fall into the mid 60s for Monday morning. This will be about 5° warmer compared to Sunday morning.

Our temperatures will continue to slowly climb upwards Monday afternoon under mostly sunny skies with highs expected to be in the upper 80s. It will start to feel a little sticky as a little moisture builds back in.

The humidity will become more noticeable Tuesday and Wednesday. Temperatures will top out in the upper 80s and low 90s during the middle part of the week with a mix of sun and clouds. It will be very uncomfortable with the combination of the heat and humidity.
